Concert promotion is a low margin business. When Madonna takes in $300 million from her world tour, Live Nation makes 10% or $30 million from the tour. Of course that wouldn’t include other revenue steams for Live Nation, such as the ticketing fees, parking, concessions and other ancillary money.
